Welcome to NELUA. These terms explain the rules for using the app. By continuing to use NELUA, you accept them.
1. About the service
NELUA is an app for tracking the menstrual cycle and gentle wellbeing support: calendar, diary, phase tips, local content on food, movement and meditation, a chat assistant, meal-photo macros estimate, and packaged product barcode lookup (Open Food Facts).
The service is provided “as is” within the current app version. Features may be added and refined.
2. Not a medical device and not medical advice
NELUA is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure disease.
Information, cycle predictions, phase tips, recipes, workouts, practices, chat replies, automatic gram/macros estimates from photos, and product data from Open Food Facts are general informational and wellness content. This is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or an individualized nutrition plan from a dietitian.
Calorie and macronutrient estimates from photos are approximate model heuristics: they can be wrong (especially portion size and hidden ingredients). Open Food Facts data is community-sourced and may also be incomplete or inaccurate. Review and correct values manually before saving.
For questions about health, contraception, pregnancy, pain, medical diets, or worrying symptoms, see a doctor or other qualified professional. In an emergency, call local emergency services.
Ovulation, fertile window, and next-period predictions are estimates based on data you enter and typical models. They may differ from real physiology and must not be used as the sole method of contraception or pregnancy planning.
3. Your responsibility
You confirm that data you enter is provided voluntarily at your discretion.
You use recommendations, content, AI estimates, and product reference data at your own risk and do not rely on the app instead of professional help.
You may not use NELUA unlawfully, attempt to disrupt the app, extract closed source code, or present NELUA content as a medical service.
4. Age
The service is intended for users 16+. If you are under 16, use NELUA only with a parent or legal guardian’s consent.
5. Subscription and purchases
NELUA offers paid Premium subscriptions: monthly and yearly. Payment, renewal, and billing run through the App Store or Google Play under their rules. Cancellations and refunds follow the relevant store policy.
The monthly plan may include a 3-day trial (if the store account meets Apple or Google rules). After the trial, the subscription renews automatically until cancelled in store account settings.
Manage the subscription (plan change, cancel) in the App Store / Google Play or via “Manage in store” in the app. Purchase restore is available on the subscription screen after reinstall or device change.
Currently Premium unlocks cloud AI features (chat assistant and meal-photo macros estimate) when the app uses the production proxy. Other app areas (calendar, diaries, content) remain available without Premium. Charges only occur after you complete a store purchase.
6. Intellectual property
The NELUA name, design, UI copy, local content (practice, workout, and recipe descriptions), and software code are protected by the developer’s rights and/or third-party licenses. You may not copy or distribute app materials without permission, except as expressly allowed by law.
Product reference data from Open Food Facts is provided as open data (Open Database License / related content and image licenses). The app shows the source; reuse terms for that data are set by Open Food Facts licenses, not these Terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on predictions, chat replies, meal-photo macros estimates, Open Food Facts data, or other NELUA content.
We aim for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, absolute accuracy of predictions, AI nutrition estimates, or product reference data, and do not claim fitness for a particular medical or dietetic purpose.
8. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms when features or store/legal requirements change. The current date is shown at the top of the page. Continued use after an update means acceptance of the new version — unless law requires otherwise.
